The ‘you can’t do that’ attitude doesn’t work when you realise there is no box, in many things, not just art, how do you think that the great inventors came up with their inventions, and art is just the same, It is all part of being a ‘creative’ – yes there will be failure, but when it works there is no feeling quite like it. I apply this in art and photography, always trying something , mixing different media and styles to create what I , and hopefully others see as pleasing to the eye, and thought provoking and stimulating to the mind . My abstract piece ‘Watching the Worlds Turn’ printed on large canvas causes a lot of discussion as to what people can see , and there is always a comment from someone that I haven’t heard before. – definitely a conversation starter …..
